Hi sorry if this has been covered before. I got myself a ceiling mount and noticed that the picture wobbles when the neighbours walk around above :(. Do you know of a clever solution, i.e. any vibration absorbers that could be mounted on the ceiling?

Hello together We are going to install a projector in our living room and after some searching and 1000 reviews we have decided on the JMGO N1S Ultimate. We're not big film fans but we do watch football or Netflix from time to time. We can darken our living room quite well, but in an emergency (e.g. Lauberhorn race) the set-up should also work in a room with ambient light. Could someone here recommend a suitable and affordable screen (80 - 100 inches)? Will an inexpensive "Elite Screens Spectrum" suffice or will we not be happy and should invest in an ALR screen? Incidentally, we realise that a TV would be the easier decision for our case, but we can't place it in a sensible position (the only option would be in front of the balcony door). In the course of purchasing a PS5 at the end of the year, the moment has come to switch to 4K in the home cinema. The projector should fulfil the following requirements: - PS5 and a TV box will be connected. - 4K - bright enough to be used in daylight - Input lag should be bearable (mainly single-player RPGs will be played, so this is not the decisive factor) - Budget: up to 1700 euros - Preferably near field Now I have a few questions here: - native 4K vs pixel shifting: Is the difference even noticeable for the "layman"? The price differences to native 4K are immense. - HDMI 2.0 vs. 2.1: As far as I know, 2.1 delivers 120 FPS at 4K, while 2.0 only manages 60FPS. However, since the PS5 in 4K probably won't get above 60 FPS either way (nothing confirmed, pure conjecture), this part is probably negligible. Or is there something for HDMI 2.1 that would justify the extra cost? - Which model is recommended? Thanks in advance for your help

Hello together I am looking for a beamer for a very specific purpose. I am planning a mobile planetarium. This is an inflatable dome with a diameter of 5 metres and lined with light grey screen fabric. The dome is practically light-proof and therefore very dark. A spherical mirror is used to project the beamer image of 360° content onto the screen. I am looking for a beamer that has a good to very good resolution (4k if possible), is suitable for films and, in addition to good colours, also has as good a black level as possible, as most of the films are about astronomy, so there is a lot of space black that should not be grey. In terms of price, I imagine about CHF 2000. The two Epson EB-L400U and EH-TW7100 have been recommended to me so far. Since I find the factsheets and some of the test reports rather confusing, I'm counting on your expertise. Many thanks in advance!

Hello Together :) I am looking for a beamer that is good for gaming (60hz and good response time with FullHD) but is also a good home cinema beamer (4k resolution possible). It should also not be too loud, because the projector hangs directly above the couch. It should also be noted that the distance from the wall to the projector is just under 4m. Price can be up to approx. 3000. I would be really happy if someone could help me:) Regards

Benq beamers do not have a built-in dust filter (at least the beamers up to about CHF1500). Epson beamers, on the other hand, have dust filters in this price range. Who of you has had dust problems with Benq or Epson in this price range? Can anyone explain to me why Benq can do without them and Epson can't? My Benq W1070 has a dust problem and support says it might not be worth repairing/cleaning. Before I move towards Epson, I would like to know the experiences of the Epson community...

When streaming movies from my Synology NAS (DS216j) to the projector (Epson EH-TW3200), the following keeps happening: 1- The film freezes for 5-10 seconds. 2- The film continues without sound at about double speed (for about the same time as it had stopped; as if it had to make up for the lost time) 3- The sound comes back and the film continues to run normally. The timing of the film is irrelevant and random, as it is always a different one (sometimes every 10 minutes, then again only after 30 minutes, etc.). When I try to reproduce the problem, the film no longer freezes at the same point, but before or even a few minutes after. BUT: The problem does NOT occur when I stream the same film on the SONY TV. The whole thing only happens when playing on the beamer. I have already replaced the HDMI cable from the media player (Popobox V8) to the beamer (i.e. connected the beamer cable to the TV and vice versa). The problem only occurs with the beamer. Is it possible that something in the beamer electronics can cause this effect? The beamer is 7 years old and has been showing this problem for about 2 months. Or does anyone have another explanation and know a remedy? Many thanks for any help!
