Questions about AOC C24G2U/BK

I have a question, I bought the monitor yesterday and I have the problem that it always drags a big black veil behind it (it's a kind of ghosting, but it can't be fixed with the Overdrive etc. setting). However, this usually only happens with grey on black images. Is the panel deffective or have I made a mistake? (I have already set the HZ, correct picture size and so on).

I assume you have already done some research on the internet. At a glance, I think I saw that AOC supplies two different panels here. What else you can do is change the refresh rate (Hz), depending on what it is, it can have an influence.

Do I have the 4 holes in the back to use it on a monitor mount?

Remove the stand (or don't put it on at all), then the VESA mount becomes visible (100 x 100 mm).

I bought this screen to play on my ps4 and I'm saving up for a tower pc. What would you recommend as an Asus Nvidia tower pc for a price of 0.- to 1750.- that could hold 165 fps?

What kind of HDMI is installed? Is 120hz achievable via HDMI with a 2.0 / 2.1 cable for the PS5 console?

I have had this monitor for a good week now. Unfortunately, instead of 165hz, I "only" have 120hz. Does anyone know what the problem is?

You would have to connect the screen with a DP cable and change it to the Advanced settings in the Display menu. Unfortunately it only recognises 120 HZ with HDMI

The AOC C24G2U supports HDMI 1.4, so it should be technically sufficient for 120 Hz. 144 Hz would also be supported. However, it also depends on the XBox, i.e. it will only be possible to say exactly when everything is connected.
