Thank you for the info! However, you can report incorrect specifications directly yourself.

Yes, apart from the very first generation, all Unifi access points can have their uplink via radio: https://community.ui.com/questions/Missing-Wireless-Uplink-with-nanoHD/d5705c36-243f-4a82-9467-e95d9d6b42fd
To configure, you need a CloudKey or UDMPro/UDM. Then either connect them all to one switch.... or, once set up, you can also have the APs meshed with each other. Power would be needed anyway. Therefore, the cleanest way is to connect via POE with Cat. The whole thing is then easy to configure via the Cloudkey or UDM/Pro (networks, guest WLAN network, etc.).
There are many comparisons of both APs on the net. The following video compares 3 situations with measurements: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzpdvUPxjYc Enjoy!
In my case, a POE injector was included in the scope of delivery. It works wonderfully with it. Alternatively, the Ubiquiti Unifi Switch US-8-60W would also come into question.
Since a set price does not automatically adjust to the individual prices, it may happen that the set price is higher after a reduction of the individual price than if the individual items were ordered separately.
According to the information available to us, the scope of delivery of the set does not differ from that of the individual product, except for the number of items.
Mesh is unfortunately only supported by devices that can do mesh. Although it says in the Control Centre to allow mesh with other devices, my experience is that it does not always work one hundred percent.
Hello
Unifi APs can only be managed through a controller.
Whether it is the software version you used or via the Unifi Cloud Key which is a small box that allows you to manage a large part of the Ubiquiti hardware.
The last 3 times I ordered Ubiquiti material the connectors were "forgotten", contact customer service. They will order the cables for you free of charge.

Hi DargonSniper, I don't have a detailed insight into how UNIFY configure their products in HW and FirmWare and have implemented the FW stack. Even more difficult to estimate how apps in the respective OS are set up here. In general, increasing the bandwidth of the channels often helps with the transmission speed, and 2.4GHz always manages more anyway (5GHz is used for connectivity to minimise areas without reception). with the "Network Signal Info" app, my AP NanoHD managed 360MBit adhoc on an S22+... similar on my U6LR... if you are assigned a different channel in the mesh by changing the position in the housing, then the transmission speed will fluctuate somewhat because by default the UNIFY AP also adjusts its bandwidths to the number of connected devices and neighbouring channels. Hello Florian.
AP(stands for Access Point) NanoHD is effectively "only" an access point and intended as a component in a more complex network.
From your modem onwards, you need at least the following for a functioning WLAN:
- UniFi Security Gateway (the actual router)
- PoE Injector (included with the AP)
- A machine running the controller software (e.g. UniFi Cloud Key, Raspi or other PC, Mac), which does not always have to be running, but at least for configuration and updates.
Overall, the system is very flexible, stable and reliable. However, you should have a little experience with networks to set it up. A "plug and play" approach is not likely to work here.
If you don't trust yourself to do that, I would rather look for a mesh system.
Does this 3er set come with a wall power connector/cable and wall mount?
I want to connect one NanoHD via ethernet to my Omnia Turris router (which doesn't have PoE). So I would need to plug that that into a wall socket. Does this unit come with the kind of power cable? If I not, which other product do I also need to buy?
I would also like to use my other units as APs, so I want to mount them, potentially outside. Does this unit come with what I need to wall/roof mount them? If not, which other product do I also need to buy? Are these sealed, eg, waterproof?
Hi, I have plugged my new UniFi AP NanoHD into the supplied POE injector and connected the injector to a switch on a DHCP network in 192.168.1.x. I try to detect the AP with the UniFi Network / Devices app
then by Connect to AP by flashing the QR code under the AP, then by switching to manual to add the proposed Wifi network on my natel. In any case undetectable. I install the Unifi Network Controler 5.10.23 software on my PC, "NO DEVICES FOUND". I reset the AP which passes by the fixed blue then reboot, I try to detect it with nmap on my local network and to detect the wifi signal with my natel and my PC always nothing of nothing. How do I get to see and configure this AP? Thank you in advance!
