Universal twist drill with high elasticity, very suitable for use in hand drills. It is effective for machining alloyed and unalloyed steel. Even with larger diameters, it requires little feed pressure while providing the highest toughness and optimum cutting performance. With smaller diameters, there is a low risk of breakage due to high elasticity. The optimized drill geometry and special ALPEN grinding reduce drilling time by about one third, resulting in a longer tool life. The tool life is further enhanced by the use of high-quality HSS steel and a special heat treatment.
