Universal twist drill with high elasticity, very suitable for use in hand drills. It is designed for machining alloyed and unalloyed steel. Even with larger diameters, it requires little feed pressure and offers the highest toughness with optimum cutting performance. For smaller diameters, there is a low risk of breakage due to its high elasticity. The optimized drill geometry and special ALPEN grinding reduce the drilling time by about one third, resulting in a longer tool life. The tool life is further enhanced by the use of high-quality HSS steel and a special heat treatment.
