Sure, there's a 2560 x 1440 option, but it doesn't look great. I guess if you wanted to lower your resolution for gaming, that would be possible.
It sounds as if the audio output of the PlayStation is set to Dolby Atmos or other multi-channel audio formats (except stereo). At least the monitor would then not be able to output the centre channel. Dialogue would then be missing, but the music would be output.
Yes, I mainly use the monitor for office applications (also with a laptop). It works perfectly. However, the monitor goes into stand-by mode relatively quickly (to avoid burn-in), but also switches on again quickly.
Sorry, we don't understand your question. What do you mean?
In my case, the monitor was delivered by Planzer. This seems to have been the standard at Digitec for larger/heavier items for some time. Without further contact with Planzer, however, this usually means "only" delivery to the kerbside. Digitec only gives the option of delivery to the point of use in their wiki for items over 30kg (which would not apply here). I think if you contact Planzer directly after the shipment notification, this can certainly be arranged for the monitor as well. https://www.digitec.ch/de/wiki/556
Auto-dimming is activated when the same picture is displayed for a long time and there is no mouse or key activity. This saves energy. I have not found a setting in the menu to deactivate this function. Since I use this monitor mainly for flight simulation (hardly any still images), auto-dimming is not a disturbing factor for me. The brightness is not reduced excessively. The slightest touch of the mouse restores the original brightness. This function has not bothered me during other activities (text editing, image processing).
Basically NO. The expectation of a television is that it can receive digital television signals via cable and - nowadays - that smart apps (Netflix and co) are integrated. This one can't do either. Only devices connected via HDMI/display port are displayed. But with very good quality
No, nothing burns in, you don't have to be afraid, the monitors all have several protective functions that prevent burning in. Yes, the panel is 4K UHD. There is the Pixel Shift function, then there is a Pixel Refresh cycle every 500 hours, so never disconnect the device completely from the power, automatic brightness control and also an Image Cleaning Mode has LG built in there, if a static image would be left there for a longer time.
For 5.1 sound, you need an external sound bar or surround system. This is then connected via the optical connection. The monitor itself has only stereo speakers, but can theoretically transmit 5.1 sound.
We work with different suppliers and daily prices. For this reason, the price of an item may be adjusted up or down over time.
According to our information, this is currently not available.
As I wrote to your other question, just buy a USB-C to DP cable.
