RØDE NT-USB Mini
Then you're good to go with the Rode NT-Mini! I used it during lockdown for teaching (music lessons) and for meetings. Also good for gaming, Discord, TeamSpeak, Skype or Zoom etc. Like most microphones they seem best when recording. In live chat, the sound quality is related to the transmission, if yours or the other person's connection is bad, it's all crap.
I think you can use your Lenovo laptop to record the story (e.g. with Audacity), then you can save the audio file in a common format (Tonie accepts AAC, AIF, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, M4A, M4B, WAV, OGA, OGG, OPUS, WMA) and then upload it to your Kreativ Tonie via my.tonies.com. I think the microphone is well suited for this.

The RØDE NT-USB Mini Microphone has a screw with a 5/8 to 3/8 inch thread adapter at the bottom end. This adapter allows the microphone to be attached to almost any microphone stand or studio arm.
Automatically generated from the .The microphone has a USB-C connection. A normal USB-C/USC-C cable should therefore work with a modern iPhone.
Hello Gabriela. Yes, the microphone is compatible with the MacBook Pro and does not need a separate microphone stand. Without a stand, it just sits on the table and is a little far down, depending on the situation. But I also use it this way, among other things to record audio books, the quality is very good and the noise is eliminated.
It didn't work for me on the iphone (lightning to usb-c). However, it works on the ipad (usb-c to usb-c) Good luck.
USB-C interface; accordingly, the plug of the cable is decisive and nothing else!
No. Only volume control. I "mute" in software (e.g. Zoom) with keyboard command
The NT-USB Mini brings the pristine sound quality of RØDE's world-class studio microphones to a compact, easy-to-use desktop USB microphone. Designed to deliver crystal clear, professional sounding audio directly to a computer or tablet, it's the perfect microphone for gamers, podcasters, musicians, streamers, business professionals and content creators who want to be heard in full definition.
It works perfectly with my Samsung S20 Ultra.
It has no mechanical on/off switch. Normally via sounds in Windows or via a stream deck.
Yes, I also use it for the USB-C port on the iPad with the appropriate cable.
Exactly 2 m
I have been using the Røde NT-USB Mini for almost a year now when discussing videos and during video conferences. With a mouth-to-micro distance of about 3 cm, the sound quality is excellent. For my taste, however, the sound could be a bit bassier. The installation is very simple. I would therefore describe the NT-USB Mini as an excellent entry-level microphone that meets semi-professional sound requirements. The difference in sound compared to the Røde USB-NT is best seen in the numerous test videos on YouTube.
Teams and Zoom have keyboard shortcuts for mute/unmute.
There is an inbuilt pop filter, according to the manufacturer's website -- see https://www.rode.com/microphones/nt-usb_mini. I have found no problem with plosives using the NT-USB Mini, but I am not a heavy duty user. The big brother of the Mini (the NT-USB) works with an external pop filter, but I have no experience of that.
Was going to delete my question as it has cleared up but apparently you can't....
I don't think there is any other way to turn off the mic.
I received a 2m cable with USB-A to USB-C connections.
It won't work. You need a microphone with a 3.5 mm jack.
Hello, I had to choose a different driver on the HP. This was on my husband's HP EliteBook, which I don't normally use. I can't help more than that. But after that the problem was solved....and a super sound the Mic is very good!
Go to System Settings, Sound and then to the Recording tab. If your microphone is listed there, double-click. Set the slider under "Level" to 100, then it should actually work. My Rode NT-USB is so sensitive that you could almost use it as a directional microphone.
