Hello Patrick, the castors can be removed with a 10 mm open-ended spanner. The only problem is that the unit will not be stable and straight because the floor is not flat.

The power consumption is 320 watts. This must now be converted to a year, whereby a distinction must be made between high and low tariffs. And I don't know whether the appliance runs at 320 watts all the time in continuous operation. Now, of course, it depends on the electricity price that your supplier charges you. I did this calculation for myself and the EKZ and came up with CHF 1.38 per watt. In your case, that would be 320 x 1.38 = CHF 441.60. Errors excepted.

I'll have the image removed with the rotary knob. Sorry for the confusion. It is the abdere model that is supplied.

There is no activated carbon in the unit. What purpose it serves is not clear to me. If it has to be positioned, it must be behind the ventilation flap. Maybe the manufacturer, Kibernetik, knows.

Our unit can only be operated by turning the dial. There is no digital display. However, since I bought the unit about 5 years ago, it could be that something has changed in the meantime.

The M20 is a dehumidifier and not an air purifier, in humid rooms the climate can certainly change but the air quality hardly. For more information, please contact info@kibernetik.com or 0891 750 52 00.

Hello. You mean the timer until it should switch off? The appliance has to run, then you can set the number of hours it should run on the timer. But yes, I am not completely satisfied either. I have to send it in because the sensor is broken. And actually the fan keeps running even when the timer has run out. The compressor is then off but the fan is always on. It's a shame, because the shape and manageability would be good.

No, it doesn’t measure the humidity, just extracts water from the air until it’s full. We use it in a 3m x 5m room, it definitly speeds things up, the clothes within 2m of humidifier dry overnight, the rest need a bit longer but it’s much quicker than nothing at all. We used to have a 2 x 2 full of laundry which would dry everything overnight with this

The hygrostat is mechanical. You can hear it click when you adjust it so that the dehumidifier switches on or off. I also operate it from a timer without any problems.

You can find such statements that no extension cord should be used on other electrical products as well, although I don't think I've ever read any justification. In my opinion, this is to protect against lawsuits if something should go wrong because of a faulty extension cable, e.g. because of a short circuit, and of course also so that no one stumbles over it. But that's just my opinion and of course everything is without guarantee ;-)

Yes, I operated it with a timer in the garage. I don't use it anymore, but I can put it on Ricardo in the next few days for 100CHF, I think even with the rest of the guarantee. Just reply to your link or Ir.Re(at)GMX.net.
